Teaching

I have developed and facilitated original arts curriculum for professional theater companies, schools, and museums, such as New Repertory Theater’s summer acting programs, The Putney School in Vermont, and The Harvard Art Museums. I currently serve as a teaching artist with Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, an acting coach with MTCA and a creative writing advisor with the educational nonprofit Write the World. As a member of the nation’s longest running touring company, The National Players, I performed and taught workshops of Macbeth, The Comedy of Errors, and The Odyssey in schools, community centers and prisons throughout the country.

MTCA is an internationally recognized program that trains and prepares young artists for undergraduate acting school auditions. I work as a monologue acting coach, supporting the next generation of theatre artists in their educational pursuits.

HVSF is a nonprofit theatre company based in Garrison, NY. I serve as a teaching artist in their education department; traveling to schools throughout the Hudson Valley, leading theatre residencies, and engaging students in Shakespeare’s stories through embodied workshops.

Write the World is a global community for young writers to develop their literary voices and share stories with adolescents from around the world. I serve as an advisor and editor for student writing in creative nonfiction, narrative journalism, poetry and fiction short stories.
